Milind Soman Speaks Up On The Huge Age Gap Between Him And Wife Ankita Konwar: ‘It Is The Difference Between My Age And My Mother’s Age’
Milind Soman made the headlines when he married his girlfriend Ankita Konwar last year. Milind Soman, who made women go weak in their knees, broke a lot of hearts with his marriage to Ankita. But what made the headlines was the huge age difference between the couple. However, the gorgeous couple hasn’t let a few years get in the way and have been madly in love with each other. They shell out major relationship goals on their social media by posting about each other. While people love seeing them break the conventional ways, a lot of people criticized them for the age gap.

Now, in a recent advertisement for a toothpaste brand, Milind Soman and Ankita Konwar have opened up about their relationship and what their views are on the age gap. In the video, Milind Soman reads comments from trolls on social media who call him and his wife names. One comment reads , “Ankita should call him Papaji,” to which Milind winks and jokingly replies, “She does, sometimes.” Milind Soman also addresses the age gap and says that it s a huge age gap of 26 years and is the difference between his age and his mother’s age. He also thinks that there should be no barriers when two people are in love. Who people love should be based on their feeling, and not based on what society thinks or believes.

He says, “Conventionally, society has created these barriers for people when they fall in love. These are the people who should be together, these are the people who should get together. Those are based on many things – race, religion, country, gender…I think there should not be any barriers. I think everybody should be free to choose who they love and who they like and that should be based just on feelings that they have in the heart, it should have nothing to do with the society.”

Meanwhile, in other news, Milind Soman shot to fame when he featured in Alisha Chinai’s song Made In India. Milind and Ankita Konwar are both athletes and keep posting fitness related videos on their social media. The two tied the knot in April 2018 at Milind’s farmhouse in Alibaug.
